Slade House, the largest of the three, is a former yeoman's abode dating back to the 1640s. Slade Cottage, a carefully converted wing of the farmhouse, has its own courtyard and cobbled patio which again command breathtaking views of the countryside. With quarry tiled floors, it still retains the original farmhouse range. The smallest of the three, Slade Tops, was converted from a split level barn and sleeps two people in homely surroundings.

properties have been renovated to designs by the award winning
architect owner, Alan Philp. 
The range of activities in the area is also impressive. Nearby
Alton Towers, whose bustle is in stark contrast to the silence
of the Slade House farm, is perfect for a raucous family day out.
The Roaches, also in the immediate vicinity, is famed throughout
the land for its rock climbing. Cycling is perhaps the best way
