cottage is graded four stars by Visit Britain and is entered from a
sheltered south east facing paved courtyard and cobbled patio.
There
is a wealth of old beams which blend with lighter coloured timbers in
this sympathetically restored property even maintaining as a feature
the steep staircase( unused ) to the original cheese room.
On
the ground floor the kitchen dining room with its quarry tiled floor
and original farmhouse range has fitted units and appliances including
split level oven and hob dishwasher and fridge/freezer as well as the
square pine table.
Off this area is the double bedroom with a king size bed- en suite bathroom with an over bath shower.
A cloaks and shower room with basin is also off the kitchen dining area.
At
first floor the cottage is designed with a large lounge with the
original oak beams , sloping ceilings and a wood burning stove set
against a red brick chimney feature.
A further cosy twin bedded room is also situated on the first floor with an en-suite lavatory and wash hand basin.
Externally, the patio area is an area to enjoy the views over the garden to the spectacular countryside.
