House awarded four star grade by Visit Britain is the largest of the
three properties and is a former yeoman’s house dating back to 1642.
From a small south facing garden, an entrance hall leads to the kitchen/dining room, a shower room and a family sitting room.
The
large quarry tiled farmhouse kitchen and dining room may well prove to
be the place where your family will congregate enjoying the warmth of
the wood burning stove set in the original Staffordshire stone
fireplace around the large round kitchen table.
The
room is well lit and fitted with light oak wood kitchen units and
integrated appliances including a oven, fridge ,dishwasher and freezer.
A separate shared laundry room is available with washing machine and
tumble dryer.
The
comfortable sitting room with a living flame gas fire overlooks the
bottom garden with views to the open countryside and Thorpe Cloud hill
to the east and Dovedale
On
the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, one with a four poster
